The idea of raising undomesticated or wild animals is still debated. While there are laws protecting wild animals, they are not absolute about which animals are protected and to what extent. This makes some people raise such animals to the detriment of the community. While I am not completely against keeping wild animals at home, I think that people who keeps them should be mindful enough that such animals will never behave as how domesticated animals are and will remain "wild" as ever if triggered by a specific environmental factor. This reminds us of Charla Nash, a 55 year old woman, who was brutally attacked by a chimpanzee named Travis who happened to be owned by her friend Sandra Herold.
The law may allow some of us to keep and raise wild animals but we must also be responsible, at all times, thinking that they might behave differently soon if triggered.
