You know that you’re facing a big problem when your auto AC fails in the middle of a hot or humid weather such as if you’re driving on a long road in Texas. Lucky you if there are mechanics around available to help you with fixing the AC portion of your engine for you. Otherwise, you might suffer from sweating while traveling to your target destination.
I have a car equipped with diesel engine. Diesel engines are easier and cheaper to maintain than any other fuel type. I have quite a good knowledge in car maintenance so I sometimes do the maintenance myself. If there is anything serious, that’s when I take it to the more learned professionals. I also keep a spare diesel fuel pump and other spare parts with me just in case I’m traveling off town.
