Health Tips to Avoid Swine Flu

Everybody is aware of the damages done by the swine flu but only a few of us really knows what it is all about. It is important to remember, however, that swine flu is just the same as other influenza virus its just that the a very few number of people have resistance against the virus.

Some of the common symptoms of swine flu infection are the following:
  • Fever
  • Lethargy
  • Sudden lack of appetite
  • Coughing
Also in advanced cases, infected individuals may also experience runny nose, diarrhea, sore throat, nausea, and vomiting.

One sure way to combat this is to stay healthy by eating fruits and vegetables, regular exercise and enough rest. Aside from these, the following may help prevent possible infection and spread of this swine flu disease:
  • Wear face masks in public if you're in endemic areas.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Refrain or avoid direct contact with people in public.
  • Consult a doctor as soon as you experience any flu-like symptoms.
  • Refrain from traveling to another place if not really important.
