Patrick Swayze Says Goodbye As Cancer Spreads

I like movies but I hardly memorize all the names of each of the actors and actresses I saw in a movie. I know just a few but not a lot.

One of the good actors I know is Patrick Swayze who starred in the much hailed Dirty Dancing and the Ghost movie. I was surprised to learn that he is now starting to bid goodbye to all his friends for he knows that he'll die soon because of cancer.

Back in January, he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I didn't pay much attention since he was backed up by competent doctors of the Stanford University Medical Center.

But the disease was aggressive and it cannot be contained. Now the disease has took over his body and he bid his final battle and has held his hand up to it and surrendered.

Cancer is such a rampant disease and cure is not yet within reach. But I hope that someday, cure is no longer cherished and that death from cancer will be just a thing of the past.
