I'm not a big fan of the Aquinos nor any other politicians in particular but I am saddened everytime I hear about people getting cancer. It more sounds like there might be some sort of bad spirit going on inside a person's body everytime you hear that cancer has metastasized (spread) to other parts or things like that. Discussion about death is always discouraged in Philippine society.
Taking care of our health should always be our top priority. But more often than not, we fall to taking risk because of lack of discipline or because of our way of thinking that we are too young to even think about these diseases which are often seen among the elderly people.
Well think about it. People are starting to show early signs of symptoms for diseases that usually show up late in people's lives. Well, thanks to our lifestyles. =(
